Organizational Internship (Summer Training) - Career Institute of International Management

Organizational Internship (Summer Training)
Summer Internship for eight – ten weeks is an indispensable supplement to the learning of the classroom. This is an essential pre-requisite for the award of the PGDM Diploma. The PGDM students are required to join a leading corporate house to pursue summer internship and /or research project on the completion of the third trimester to give them the real life exposure of the corporate world and to learn to apply theory to real life business situations. The students are required to submit weekly reports to their faculty guide. Since the summer internship is a vital component in the promotion of the student into the second year, they are also graded for this. Students have to submit a detailed project report and make a formal presentation to the Institute Jury on the project, which may include external subject experts from industry/academics.
